BUS passengers are facing yet another shake-up of services.
First has announced a raft of changes to routes across the county, including some cuts.
Evening services are particularly affected, with several late-night journeys being axed in the county.
The frequency of six bus services will also be reduced.
It comes on top of dozens of cuts to bus journeys announced by various transport companies last month.
First have already cut four buses completely in Hampshire, and introduced reduced timetables on 12 others from Sunday, October 16.
Bluestar also withdrew a service last month and scaled back other routes.
Last month’s timetable changes were put down to a drop in subsidies from Hampshire County Council. The local authority says it has reviewed the money it pays to bus companies to run services because of a £1.1m reduction in Government grants for public transport.
However, First says the latest timetable reductions are due to changes in demand for certain routes.
The changes come into effect on Sunday, December 4.
A full list of services affected is in today's Daily Echo.
