MORE than £1m has been seized from criminals across the region in the past seven months.
Wessex Crown Prosecution Service said they seized £1.4m in assets from people who have benefited from illegal activities.
Nick Hawkins, chief Crown Prosecutor for Wessex Crown Prosecution Service, said: “This sends a clear message to criminals – crime doesn’t pay, and our team of expert lawyers will continue to work effortlessly with our police colleagues to identify, track down and confiscate benefits that you have gained from your crimes.”
