EMERGENCY services are today being put through their paces simulating their response to a terrorist attack.
Police, ambulance and fire service personnel have donned chemical protection suits as part of the exercise to deal with a potentially catastrophic incident involving a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear agent.
The simulation began at 9am and runs until 4pm, and sees police support headquartered at Netley and the “attack” at Town Depot in Albert Road, Southampton.
