POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary.
Thieves targeted the property in Northbrook Avenue, St Giles Hill, Winchester between 6am and 9am on Tuesday this week.
Laptop computers, cigarettes and cash were stolen.
Officers are interested to hear from anyone in the St Giles Hill and surrounding areas who may have had unusual callers recently or noticed anything suspicious in the area.
PC Emma Purser, who is investigating, said: “We’d advise homeowners to ensure their properties are secure, especially in the lead up to the Christmas period.
This should also be done even when someone is at home. Burglars will take any chance they get so ensure your doors and windows are locked.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Purser at Winchester police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 11.
