CONTROVERSIAL plans to build a convenience store in a Hampshire high street will be discussed tomorrow.
Councillors are expected to approve the application to open a Tesco Express in Lee-on- the-Solent but businesses and residents fear it will hit existing trade.
Gosport Borough Council planners have been sent at least 60 letters of objection to the new store, along with two supporting statements.
The regulatory board will meet at Gosport Town Hall, in the High Street, at 6pm to decide whether or not to approve the plans.
