Arrest made after stabbing
A TEENAGER has been arrested by detectives investigating a stabbing in a Southampton street.
Police yesterday detained a 17-year-old boy in connection with the incident in Gordon Avenue, Portswood, on Friday evening.
The youth, who is from Greater London, was last night being questioned over the stabbing.
As reported, a 30-year-old Eastleigh man suffered a serious stab wound to his upper right thigh during the incident.
He has since undergone surgery at Southampton General Hospital, where he is still recovering.
