A YOUNG boy was shoved off his bike and threatened with a knife before a gang stole it in a callous robbery.
The 12-year-old victim was riding home through the woods off Warren Avenue in Southampton when he was subjected to the ordeal and now police are urging people with information to come forward.
Five youths including a teenage girl went up to him and one of the gang – aged about 15 – pushed him off his bike.
He wore a grey hoodie with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms, black and grey Nike Air trainers and black fingerless gloves.
Another told him to leave his cycle because he had a knife in his back pocket.
He was black or mixed race of muscular build and wore pale baggy jeans, a black Nike hoodie jacket and wore purple and black Nike Air trainers.
The third teen aged about 16 who wore a navy blue hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms with two stripes down the side, then took it.
The youths took the Sabre Ignition with gold wheels and dual suspension and headed in the direction of the skate park.
The fourth teenager was white and about 6ft, quite skinny and had a grey hoodie and dark-coloured tracksuit bottoms.
The girl aged about 15 had long blonde hair and she was wearing a pink and black hoodie with black tracksuit bottoms.
Police are appealing for anyone who knows where the bike is.
