A HAMPSHIRE man was jailed after admitting his part in a public sex act.
Kevin Lambert, 25, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to 14 days in jail at Winchester Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Lambert was arrested by police in Winchester High Street on September 13, along with co-defendant Claire Castle, after they were caught on CCTV footage.
He was charged with outraging public decency and using threatening words and behaviour towards the arresting officer, pleading guilty to both.
Graeme McPherson, representing Lambert, said his client had been drinking but Magistrates said his behaviour was unacceptable and gave him a custodial sentence. His sentence was reduced from 21 days due to an early guilty plea.
He was also fined £100 after admitting to an additional charge of begging in a public place on November 3 and he was ordered to pay costs of £120.
