Hammer attack
A WATERSIDE man who launched a claw hammer attack was further bailed pending sentence next month.
Stuart Baseley, 33, of Tristan Close, Calshot, pleaded guilty at Southampton Crown Court to wounding Peter Sargeant in Andrew Lane, New Milton.
He will be sentenced on December 19.
The prosecution offered no evidence against two other defendants – Scott Smith, 23, of Station Road, New Milton, and Kevin Millerchip, 36, of no fixed address – who denied attempted wounding.
