FOUR more homes were targeted this morning in raids across Southampton as part of an ongoing crackdown on suspected drug dealing.
Officers executed four search warrants in the city, a week after seven homes were targeted last week as part of operation Lundy.
Three people were arrested and are currently being interviewed by detectives.
All are local to Southampton and include a 15-year-old, and two men, one aged 21 and another aged 64.
The warrants were carried out at addresses in Cranberry Avenue, Alfred Street and Northumberland Road, targeting those who are suspected of being involved in the organised supply and distribution of Class A controlled drugs.
Detective Chief Inspector Kath Barnes said: “We are relentless in our pursuit to identify and target those who blight our neighbourhoods as they bring misery to law abiding citizens through their involvement in the supply of illegal drugs.
"It is no coincidence that we have carried out these warrants a week after the last series and more will follow when we have sufficient information to do so.
"That is why it is so important that residents of Southampton continue to contact us when they have information about those who supply or engage themselves in the use of illegal substances.
“That information enables us to put together these planned operations to target the unscrupulous dealers who persist in bringing drugs into Southampton and we would like to thank those residents for keeping us informed and for providing the vital community intelligence we need."
Anyone with information about those involved in drug dealing should inform the police to enable appropriate action to be taken.
Information should be given by phoning your local police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or by leaving information anonymously on the 'Rat on a Rat' website: www.ratonarat.co.uk
