IF it’s a brighter Christmas you’re after, look no further than this year’s Daily Echo’s Festive Homes competition.

We are calling on households across Hampshire to grab their flashing Father Christmases, dust off the dazzling fairy lights and show off their illuminated snowmen.

The winner of the battle of the bulbs will be able to celebrate Christmas in style with a bottle of Daily Echo bubbly.

It has become a tradition down many streets across the county for people to transform their home into a festive shrine in December and bring that extra bit of sparkle to their neighbourhood.

Last year Tony Norris, 38, tripped the light fantastic and he will be back in the running again with what is sure to be another dazzling display.

Twelve months ago he strung up 47 sets of lights, the seventh year he has turned his home he shares with wife Janine, 38, and children Lucy, 9, and Emily, 6, into a dazzling winter wonderland.
