A HAMPSHIRE youngster is back up on his feet, thanks to a generous donation from Daily Echo readers.
Joseph Park, 7, from Chandler’s Ford has Cerebral Palsy and Down’s syndrome and is confined to a wheelchair most of the time.
His parents were desperate to buy him a standing frame, to help his joints develop and allow him to play in a new position.
Staff from the Southampton account of global technology company Johnson Controls read about Joseph’s plight in the Daily Echo and got together the £1,015 needed for the specialist equipment.
Joseph’s mum Joanne said: “He just loves it and it’s wonderful to see him being able to play at full height and be in a different position to sitting in his wheelchair.”
