A WOMAN was pushed to the ground and kicked in the face in an unprovoked attack in Southampton city centre.
The 62-year-old was assaulted by hoardings next to the Sea City maritime museum building works by a man for whom she had stepped aside to allow past at 10.15am on Monday.
He then attacked her before running across the park towards Devonshire Road and then the Polygon area.
The woman was treated at Southampton General Hospital for a cut and swollen lip and a broken wrist The suspect was white, 30, slim build, 5ft 8in and wearing a blue jacket and blue trousers.
