A Hampshire hoitel has won yet another award.

Tylney Hall’s silver anniversary year has ended on a high note with the hotel winning the Highly Commended Award in the Large Hotel of the Year category in the Beautiful South Awards for Excellence 2011.

It rounds off a series of accolades won by the country house hotel at Rotherwick, near Hook, during its milestone 25th year.

Anna Cluett, Tylney Hall’s Sales, Marketing & PR Co-Ordinator and Hannah Burkeman, the Sales Manager, collected the award at a gala evening held at Denbies English Vineyard in Surrey.

Last month Tylney Hall received a commendation in the 2012 Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence in the category for venues and hotels that host meetings and incentive events for groups of 10-100 delegates. Earlier in the year the hotel won the silver award for Outstanding Customer Service in the national Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2011.

Mark Ashton, Tylney Hall’s General Manager, said: “We couldn’t have wished for a better year to mark our 25th anniversary. We have never won so many awards and commendations in a single year and to finish 2011 with the hotel beating stiff competition from around the region to win the Highly Commended Beautiful South Award is the icing on the cake.

“These awards are a real credit to the whole team and their dedication and commitment to both achieving and exceeding standards of excellence throughout the hotel. I am delighted with the latest award and it is a wonderful way to end our silver anniversary year.”
