Victoria Siddons moved back to Southampton to be near her family nearly a year ago and had to give up her care assistant job in South Wales.
The 20-year-old wants to get into a similar role to the one she had there for five months so that she can continue learning where she left off.
She said: “They had on the job training caring for the elderly, mentally ill and people with dementia.
“I enjoyed making their lives easier.
“It’s a great job as it makes me feel good because it’s so rewarding.”
Victoria, who now lives in Freemantle, attended Regents Park Community College growing up and gained nine GCSEs, all at grade C.
Her family then moved to Welshpool where she passed two A-levels and an AS-level at college.
Before getting her job as a care assistant Victoria also worked as a waitress at a cafe.
