A WINCHESTER pub is being prosecuted for having an allegedly dirty kitchen.

The company that runs the William Walker, on The Square, has been charged with seven breaches of food hygiene regulations and two of the health and safety at work act.

The allegations relate to dust and dirt, food debris and grease, unclean equipment and staff having inadequate knowledge about the dangers of pink burgers and under-cooked goose.

Colin's Pub Company, based at Ash Lane, Rustington, West Sussex is next due to appear at Andover Magistrates Court on December 19.
