The safety of motorcyclists in Hampshire has received a boost following a £1500 grant from council bosses.
Solent Advanced Motorcycles was awarded the money by Hampshire County Council to help them continue to equip riders with improved road skills.
The money will allow the organisation to make more riders aware of the support and preparation that is available to them to become Advanced Riders.
Councillor Ken Thornber said: “Hampshire’s rural roads are very popular with motorcyclists and Solent Advanced Motorcycles has a key role to play in supporting efforts to encourage road safety among motorcyclists and wider road users.
“By supporting this organisation, we can help to reduce road casualties across Hampshire.”
