A SERIAL offender took a knife outside his home after two of his front windows were smashed, Southampton Crown Court heard.
Lee Wookey, 34, had been remonstrating with another man in the street who followed him to his front door. After he went inside, Wookey then heard the glass being smashed, with it landing in his hallway.
He then picked up the knife and went outside, going about five houses away, but the other man had disappeared.
Wookey, of Ludlow Road, Southampton, admitted possessing a bladed article.
Judge Derwin Hope said Wookey had 66 previous convictions and the offence happened just a week before he appeared before Portsmouth Crown Court in relation to four breaches of a community sentence.
Wookey – currently serving a prison sentence with a release date in late February – had sentence adjourned until January 10.
