A YOUNG biker is fighting for his life in hospital after smashing into a concrete wall.

The 22-year-old from Warsash was riding a green Suziki in an underground car park at the Solent Business Park in Whitley when the accident happened.

He was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, with life-threatening head injuries.

A police spokesman said the motorcyclist also broke both wrists and suffered a fractured left leg in the collision, which occurred at the head office of Specsavers at 6pm yesterday. His condition is described as critical.

Any witnesses are asked to call the roads policing unit at Fratton police station on 101.
