FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney blaze at a Hampshire manor - only to find the fire had started in a log basket.
Teams from Lymington were called to Newlands manor in Everton and used thermal imaging cameras and breathing apparatus to discover the source of the fire.
They spent an hour clearing the area of smoke last night at 8.15pm. The cause of the fire is unclear.
