ALTHOUGH it is not possible to go to the berth Titanic sailed from, ABP do allow members of the public to visit the Titanic memorial.
Erected in the 1990s, it marks the sailing of Titanic from Berth 44, which is now home to the Ocean Terminal, which was built in 2009.
Originally, the berth was known as the White Star Dock, and had been built especially for Olympic, Titanic and Brittanic.
Of those three vessels, only Olympic ever used it regularly.
Today, some of the largest cruise ships in the world - which would dwarf Titanic - still sail from this part of Southampton docks.
