Tracy Beaker Gets Real comes to the Mayflower from Tuesday to Saturday courtesy of the Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company.

Mary Morris, who adapted the original Jacqueline Wilson book into the popular BAFTA nominated TV series, now brings Tracy to the stage and has enjoyed continued success.

The production stars Sarah Chum, who played the rebellious middle daughter Sarah in ITV's At Home with the Braithwaites, as the notorious Tracy.

Jessica Martin, who's enjoyed work both on television and in the West End, takes on the role of Tracy's mum. The story sees Tracy returning to the Children's Home, known as the Dumping Ground, after an unsuccessful spell at a fostering placement.

As the story unfolds it reveals all the trials and tribulations the children face at the Home, including the squabbles, the visit that never comes and the parent who never returns.

There are of course also plenty of laughs in true Beaker style!

Tickets: £14.50 and £17.50. Box office: 023 8071 1811 or go to www.the-mayflower.com
