HISTORY
: Kushite Statue of Taharqa (Black Pharaohs) at God's House Tower Museum, Town Quay.

The magnificent statue is a rare example of Nubian art, dating back to the 7th century BC. It is thought to be a portrait of the black pharaoh Taharqa, who ruled over the Nile Valley (present day Egypt and Sudan) during the 25th dynasty from 690 - 664.
