JOIN the girls and help beat cancer.
That is the message from Race for Life organisers who are urging all women to recruit their mums, sisters, daughters, aunties, friends and workmates to do something special by supporting this year’s event.
Volunteers turned Southampton into a sea of pink as they drummed up support for the Daily Echo backed annual fundraiser. And women across the city couldn’t help having fun as they even took part in Active Nation led Zumba classes to launch the countdown to the grand Cancer Research UK event.
The volunteers from the charity, Active Nation and Southampton Sea Cadets urged shoppers to enter the Race for Life 2012, which takes place on Sunday, July 8 at Southampton Common.
