DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a Hampshire great-grandmother have released CCTV images of a man they wish to identify.
The man was sighted by an Atlantic Close resident on the day the body of Delia Hughes was discovered - Saturday, August 18.
He was seen by the resident leaving Atlantic Close and walking off in the direction towards Tasman Close at around 9.30am.
CCTV cameras now reveal that the man detectives want to trace was in the general area of Atlantic Close and the Ocean Village complex from around 8.20am.
He is described as white, aged 25-30 years old, of a slim build and between 5ft 8 and 5ft 10 tall.
He was nimble and bouncy on his feet as he walked and was wearing a grey hooded jacket which was zipped at the front, faded blue jeans, white training shoes and had what appears to be a small black rucksack resting on his back
Detective Superintendent Tony Harris said: βIt is imperative that we identify and speak to this man as a matter of urgency as he was in the area at a critical time and could well provide us with vital information.
"If this man identifies himself from these images or if anyone can assist us in identifying him, we would ask that they contact us immediately.β
