HERE come the girls!
Today is the Daily Echo Ladies Day at the PSP Southampton Boat Show and it is time for glitz, glamour and, of course, gorgeous dresses.
The annual highlight of the show will see members of the fairer sex dressed in their finest frocks and fascinators hoping to impress the Daily Echo fashion scouts.
The glamorous day will raise cash for the Breast Cancer Campaign which supports people across the county.
Daily Echo reporter Tara Russell is taking to the water for the third year but this time in a Canoe Challenge overseen by Olympian Lizzie Neave and Rockley Watersports.
From 10am until 11am eight women from the local media and sponsors of the event will complete a set of challenges in the marina.
Women should look out for the Daily Echo photographer at the show who will be scouting for fabulous frocks and taking photos of welldressed ladies with a chance of winning one of many top prizes.
Prizes up for grabs include a luxury spa day and a B&B break.
Other highlights includes a series of talks celebrating girl power with speakers including Hampshire powerboat champion Shelley Jory -Leigh and stunt double and powerboater Sarah Donohue, who has worked with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, Angelina Jolie and Pamela Anderson.
The day will end with the prizegiving ceremony for the best dressed lady over a glass of bubbly in the Champagne Bar.
