POLICE clamping down on speeding in the New Forest recorded 49 drivers over the limit in one hour.
Officers joined forces with the New Forest Roads Awareness Speed Watch team to carry out checks on the Roger Penny Way.

They spent one hour at the top of the hill as you leave Bramshaw monitoring traffic in the 40mph zone.
A police spokesman said: "The top speed was 55mph. Please slow down when driving on Forest roads."
