A LUNCH club for the homeless is in need of donations.
Southampton Unitarian Church started the club four weeks ago to offer those in need a free ham or cheese sandwich, soup and tea and coffee.
Every Wednesday, between 12 pm and 1.30pm, up to 20 people eat there, most of whom come from the Society of St James homeless shelter.
But in order to provide the service, run by around five volunteers from the church, they rely on donations of tinned soup and cash. Donations can be delivered to the church on Bellevue Road on Sundays between 11.45am and 12.45am.
