WINCHESTER civic chief Kelsie Learney has been defending the controversial plans for Sunday parking charges.
The traffic and parking committee will next Wednesday consider a proposal for a £2 for all-day parking in central car parks.
There will still be free Sunday car parking at Tower Street and Chesil Street, Worthy Lane, Durngate, Chesil Street, Riverpark Leisure Centres.
