GIRLS at St Anne's School in Southampton got their best ever results.
A staggering 38 per cent of grades were at A* or A with 85 per cent of the 184 candidates getting five or more A* to C grades.
Sixteen students achieved straight A* or A grades in ten or more subjects.
Martine Wellington, Shiqi Shan and Tejaswi Makam all got ten A*s.
Tiamanta Zacharias, 16, got A*s in English literature and language and scooped a national award for English, being one of the four of the best students in the country and beating over 904,000 entries.
