Calling all witches and wizards, Harry Potter is back for a 20th-anniversary reunion special.
Prepare yourselves as we step back into the wizarding world and return to Hogwarts in an exclusive special for HBO Max.
The original cast from all eight films will come together to celebrate two decades since the first film: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone hit our screens.
The retrospective special which is produced by Warner Bros will bring together Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson with other Harry Potter alumni.
The magical tribute will invite fans “on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time”, HBO Max said.
The special was announced exactly 20 years after the US release of the first film on November 16 2001.
Other big names signed up for the show include Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton and Tom Felton.
Actors James and Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch and Ian Hart are also expected to appear.
They will be joined by American filmmaker Chris Columbus in the programme as they discuss the films and their impact.
When is the Harry Potter 20th reunion special on?
The Harry Potter special will air on HBO Max at midnight on New Year's Day or January 1.
The special will also debut on TBS and Cartoon Network in spring 2022.
This is ahead of the Warner Bros theatrical debut of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore which will roll out globally with more details to come.
How to watch the Harry Potter reunion in the UK
Currently, HBO Max is not available in the UK.
HBO has an exclusivity deal with Sky meaning that HBO shows are first broadcast on Sky channels before they go anywhere else - usually starting with Sky Atlantic.
This also means that NOW TV customers may also be able to watch the special on Sky's streaming service.

Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will air on HBO Max at midnight on January 1 2022.
