Eastleigh slipped into the Blue Square South relegation zone after a 3-1 loss at Bromley this afternoon.
Eastleigh made four changes to the starting line-up from Tuesday with Osei Sankofa, Mark Hughes, Lee Peacock and Andy Forbes coming into the team.
They took the lead in the third minute when Damian Scannell was fouled and JAI REASON scored the resulting penalty.
However, in the 27th minute Bromley drew level when ALI FUSEINI scored with a powerful shot from just outside the area.
Moments earlier Eastleigh goalkeeper Ross Flitney made a good save to keep the home team out.
Before half-time both teams had their attacking moments with Andy Forbes going close following a cross from Adam Everitt. Half-time: In the 47th minute PIERRE JOSEPH-DUBOIS scored a diving header from a cross from Marlon Patterson. After that Richard Pacquette and Louie Theophanous had shots saved for their respective sides.
But in the 60th minute Theophanous scored his team’s third goal after being set a simple task when a corner was not cleared.
Although Lee Peacock had a header cleared off the line, Ross Flitney was the busier of the goalkeepers as Bromley played with much greater cohesion during the game.
