SELF-belief and a sunny disposition helped nine-year-old Mickey Joyce claim back-to-back tournament wins on the Cuestars South of England Under-21 Bronze Tour.
The Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club youngster now leads the rankings at the halfway stage of the eight-leg series. Joyce followed up his success in Bournemouth last month with a hard-fought victory at Jesters Snooker Hall, Swindon.
Renowned for playing with a smile on his face and an excellent attitude around the table, he battled back from 1-0 down to prevail 2-1 in both his semi-final and final.
“I just thought I could win this,” he said.
