Southampton Diving Academy have yet another high point to celebrate in a very successful 2012.
Three senior divers and coach Lindsey Fraser had already taken part in the London 2012 Olympics. Junior divers also scored some successes.
Now 24 divers aged from 11 years old, who train at Active Nations, The Quays, have been recognised by The Hampshire Talented Athlete Scheme in 2013.
The Hampshire divers – Portia Angove, Abbie Baker, Theo Barnes, Robbie Brodie, Max Cott, Nicholas Egg, Brandon Foster, Thomas Graham , Lucy Hawkins, Mollie James, Alastair Khakoo, Emily Martin, Gemma McArthur, Rosie Medlock, Lewys Oakley, William Osborne, Scott Palmer, Amy Pritchard, William Rigelsford, Ryan Strudwick, Bethany Watts, Sarah White, Georgie Wingrove and Tom Wrightson – are now eligible to receive free access to leisure centres, free bus passes from Stagecoach, Blue Star and First, fast-track physiotherapy and sports science support from Southampton Solent University.
