UTILITY man Leigh Mills has been released by Eastleigh after just four months at the Silverlake.
The former Swindon Town and Tottenham Hotspur centre-back/midfielder was signed shortly after Richard Hill took over at the helm of the Blue Square Bet South club in September.
The 24-year-old joined the Spitfires from Winchester City where he had been a key member of their Sydenhams Premier title-winning team last term.
Meanwhile Eastleigh midfielder Chris Flood has had his loan at Maidenhead United extended. .
The Spitfires' scheduled BSB South trip to Tonbridge Angels tomorrow has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
