George Burley reflected on Saints' best away league win since April 2004 and confessed: We had to keep believing!
Saints' stroll at Elland Road was the first time they had won an away league match by three clear goals since Paul Sturrock's men triumphed 4-1 at Wolves two and a half years previously.
"I'm pleased more for the fans to get an away win because there's been so many times in the last couple of months we've come away, played well and got nothing from it," said Burley.
"We deserved it and we had to keep believing that if kept playing well away results would come.
"And to win 3-0 away at Elland Road is a great result.
