SOLENT Kestrels under-16s breezed through to the third round of the National Cup with a 91-28 win over Southampton Trailblazers.
Kestrels made a slow start with only Josh Pape scoring regularly but held the opposition to just nine points in the first quarter.
The second quarter showed the depth of the Solent team with Sam Thomas and Jacob Evans coming off the bench to grab many rebounds.
Evans showed his leaping ability by closing the quarter with a thunderous dunk!
Tom Woods continued scoring in the second half and Jack O'Keefe and Andy Salmon produced some intense defense.
Coach Vicky Calver said: "We are now looking forward to the third round against Taunton."
