SAINTS chairman Michael Wilde will today survive an attempt to vote him off the club's PLC board - with the help of fellow director Leon Crouch.
Wilde is one of the SIX new directors who are already up for re-election at today's Southampton Leisure Holdings PLC annual meeting at St Mary's.
The Daily Echo understands that members of Rupert Lowe's former board - which resigned en masse along with their former chairman back on June 30 - have voted against some of the men who replaced them.
But Crouch, who last week put pressure on Wilde to dip into his own pocket to finance new signings for George Burley, WILL be supporting his board colleagues.
That should ensure any major anti-Wilde voting is kept to just Lowe's former board supporters.
