SAINTS are to renew pre-season rivalries with non league neighbours Eastleigh again this summer.
The club in recent years have always sent a side to the Silverlake Stadiium, but that wasn’t the case in 2012.
But a Saints XI will travel to Eastleigh on Friday July 26 (7.30pm) – two days after Richard Hill’s Blue Square South squad host a Pompey XI in another friendly (7.45pm).
Eastleigh won their last friendly against Saints 4-1 in 2011 thanks to two Jamie Slabber penalties and strikes from Andrew White and Danny Smith.
Portsmouth have not visited The Silverlake since 2009 where they romped to a 6-1 victory, David Nugent firing a hat-trick.
