The ashes of Saints legend Ron Davies should soon be delivered to his family.
Authorities in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the 70-year-old died, have cremated his body and arranged for the ashes to be sent to his daughter, Nicola, who lives in Oregon.
It is hoped they will arrive with her at some point in the next week.
A decision will then be made on any funeral or memorial services for the former striker.
Davies, who emigrated to the United States at the end of his career, died in hospital on May 24.
The former Welsh international is remembered as one of the finest centre forwards Saints have ever had.
After being signed by Ted Bates from Norwich, in 1966, he scored 153 goals in 281 appearances for the club.
