EASTLEIGH will kick off the new Conference South campaign with a mouth-watering home fixture against their old boss.

The Spitfires, beaten play-off semi-finalists last season, will host Paul Doswell’s Sutton United on Saturday, August 17.

Doswell will be just one of a host of ex-Spitfires in the visiting party.

The Us have signed three former Eastleigh players this summer – Dale Binns, Mitchell Nelson and Jamie Slabber – and already have Anthony Riviere, Marvin Williams, Ali Fuseini and Wayne Shaw in the ranks.

Eastleigh’s first midweek trip is down to Bath City on Tuesday, August 20, followed by a Hampshire derby at Basingstoke Town the following Saturday.

They then face a tasty home game against south coast rivals Havant & Waterlooville on Bank Holiday Monday (August 26).
