AFC TOTTON have lost another experienced member of last season's squad.
Luke Whitley, who followed manager Steve Riley to the Testwood Stadium from Bashley last summer, has signed for Calor Southern One South & West side Wimborne Town.
The 6ft-plus defender is no stranger to Magpies boss Steve Cuss having played for local rivals Poole Town while he was assistant manager there.
“Luke is a very versatile player in terms of defensive positions,” said Cuss. “I’m looking forward to working with him again.”
Wimborne have been drawn away to Totton in the preliminary round of the Red Insure Cup. The tie is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24.
