Saints have terminated the contract of Richard Chaplow by mutual consent.
The midfielder is one of a number of fringe players to have been told they could leave St Mary's this summer.
Chaplow is now expected to sign for Millwall, where he was due to undergo a medical today.
The 28-year-old joined Saints on loan in September 2010 from Preston, before making his switch permanent when the January transfer window opened.
In total, he made 67 appearances for the club, scoring nine goals. Chaplow also had a loan spell at Saints in 2006.
