It's all goals, goals, goals for George Burley at the moment.

After bemoaning his side's inability to take chances just over a month ago, the Saints boss has seen a complete change in their fortunes.

Saints have now scored 13 goals in their last four league matches - all of which they have won - and four times in each of their last two.

The last time Saints had scored at least four in successive league games was back in December 1980 when they followed up a 4-2 home win over Crystal Palace by drawing 4-4 at Spurs on Boxing Day.

Saints have Grzegorz Rasiak bang in form with his double against Hull taking his Championship tally for the season to 13.

But Kenwyne Jones and Bradley Wright-Phillips have also been contributing - as has the rest of the side.

"All round, we've played better than we've played at Hull but that happens," said Burley.

"It's a tough game so all credit to the boys - that's 13 goals in four games which is a tremendous achievement.

"I said four of six weeks ago we were losing matches when on top and having more shots and opportunities but not converting them.

"Thankfully the players have listened."

He added: "Grzegorz has 13 now this season and he's on hand to tap the ball in.

"You're looking for a striker right there when the ball's going across the face of goal and he does that."

Wright-Phillips has come off the bench to score in both of Saints' last two matches - he now has four league goals to his name this season - and Burley said: "Bradley is looking very sharp at the moment.

"He's in the team and out but is another young player who's improving all the time.

"He has shown the last couple of games he's challenging the other two strikers for the starting line up.

"In any squad you need good strikers."
