A late double from forward Ryan Seager gave Saints under-21s a 3-3 draw at Welling United last night.
The Conference Premier newcomers had led 3-1 with five minutes remaining before Seager reduced the arrears with an 85th minute penalty.
The same player then levelled in the 89th minute.
Welling had earlier led twice with Joe Curtis replying for Saints.
Martin Hunter's mainly young side had started with Tadanari Lee, Jonathan Forte and Steve De Ridder.
All three of those players were taken off at the same time in the second period with Seager, Omar Rowe and Jamal Branker coming on.
Yeovil-born Seager entered Saints’ youth set-up via the Bath Academy, the path previously trodden by Nathan Dyer, Gareth Bale and Jake Sinclair.
The striker was named in the England U17 squad earlier this year.
