AFC Totton’s new-look side held strong for the first 45 minutes against Fleet Town at Calthorpe Park.
But Steve Riley’s Calor Premier outfit were overrun after the break as Fleet – managed by Totton old boy Craig Davis – ran riot.
Totton fell 4-0 down following goals from Jack White, Lee Bowen and ex-Alton hitman Simba Mlambo (2) before Nathaniel Sherborne managed a late consolation.
Next Sunday (noon) cashstrapped Totton will host a fundraising game between the FA Vase final side of 2007 and an AFC Totton Guest XI. Entry is £5 adults, £1 under-16s.
