SAINTS pair Grzegorz Rasiak and Gareth Bale are holding down top 10 positions in the Actim Championship index.

In-form striker Rasiak is up to third after his two-goal showing at Hull last weekend.

And teenager Bale is 10th.

Birmingham striker Gary McSheffrey (390) remains the clear leader but only 18 points separate the next six players.

Nicklas Bendtner (347) joined his Blues team-mate in the top two after taking his tally to three goals in as many games with strikes against Saints and Plymouth.

Rasiak registered 53 points from victories over Birmingham and Hull to jump five places to third with an overall tally of 339.

Bale moved up 22 places to make the top 10 during the same period.

The Welsh international and free-kick specialist netted against the Tigers and performed better than two-goal Rasiak as his 68 points lifted his total to 314.

Out-of-form Cardiff striker Michael Chopra (329) scored minus two as the Welsh side were thumped at Stoke and then frustrated by Colchester.

As a result, he slipped five places to seventh.

Seven players in the top 17 of the Actim Index will be in action tomorrow when Birmingham meet Preston at St Andrews in a top-of-the table encounter.
