Saints full-backs Gareth Bale and Chris Baird have been named in November's Championship Actim Team of the Month.

Welsh international Bale, who was ranked as the league's BEST player last month, is in 10th place overall in the Actim Index.

In November the 17-year-old played 578 minutes of Championship football.

He scored against Sunderland, set up three other goals, completed 57 passes, went on seven dribbles, put in 20 crosses, won 18 tackles and had six shots on target.

Baird scored in November against Luton Town - his first senior goal for Saints in his 50th appearance for the club.

The 24-year old, ranked 33rd in the Index overall, made six appearances last month, winning 11 tackles, making eight interceptions, 15 clearances and completing 34 passes.

The Actim Team of the Month has been compiled by calculating the highest-ranked players in November from each position in the Actim Index - the official player ratings of the Coca-Cola Championship.

The Actim Index uses Actim Stats to rank players according to their performance, both by position and overall.
