BRADLEY Wright-Phillips declared himself "gutted" after his "peanut head" potentially cost Saints their first victory of 2007 yesterday.
Wright-Phillips headed wide from a great position in the second half of the 1-1 draw at Plymouth with Saints leading through Grzegorz Rasiak's early strike.
"I had a great chance to score the second but it came off my peanut head and I'm gutted about that," said the eight-goal striker afterwards.
The former Manchester City man felt the draw was not only a fair result but a good one for Saints.
"Plymouth played well," he said.
"They put us under a lot of pressure and the pitch was unplayable really.
