Morgan Schneiderlin, above, has avoided suspension after the deadline for ten yellow cards passed.
The Saints midfielder had been flirting with danger in recent weeks having accumulated eight bookings, just two shy of a ban.
However, the second Sunday in April, which has now passed, marks the point at which the threshold raises to 15 cautions for a suspension.
With only four games remaining this season no Saints player will reach that milestone.
